Leaders Must Transmit WHY in the work-2012 SUPES Academy Begins in Chicago
The 2012 Chicago cohort of SUPES Academy has begun. Our group includes 48 bright, committed, and aspiring superintendents, school principals, and others studying the best (and worst) practices of the American School Superintendent position.
One of the discussions held was on the importance of leaders to help their constituents understand not just how or when, but mostly WHY we do the work we do. Listen to the Simon Sinek video below on the importance of transmitting WHY in the work we do as leaders. This is especially important for school leaders.
