School Climate in Diverse Schools

 Students and educators in high poverty schools seem to be on the short end of another deal. EPE Research Center has recently reported that educators report the following:
1.  Students and staff feeling safe-83% in low poverty schools, 46% in high poverty schools.
2.  Climate conducive to teaching & learning-72% in low poverty schools, 35% in high poverty schools.
3.  Climate fosters social & emotional well-being-59% in low poverty schools, 31% in high poverty schools.
4.  Students are well-behaved-58% in low poverty schools, 14% in high poverty schools.
5.  Bullying RARELY occurs-26% in low poverty schools, 11% in high poverty schools.
