In a world dominated by technological advances – one has to ask, ‘why haven’t we seen this incorporated into the classrooms’? You can order a pizza, pay your credit card bill, even book flights, all with just a few simple taps of a screen on a smartphone or tablet. Private industry has used technology to allow for a more streamlined, efficient processes in transactions. The linked article effectively explores how to streamline the classroom, and hopefully create a more efficient learning environment for children.

From eliminating steps in administrative duties performed by teachers, to offering individualized suggestions on studying; the concept is promising.The issues lie in implementation. Which districts will step forward to pioneer such a radical remodeling of the classroom environment?
