After an exhilarating and intense week of preparation the Distinctive Schools network of educators and staff will welcome our kids back on Monday August 20. It was reported that our CICS Bucktown campus in Chicago had more than 70% of parents attend the meet-the-teacher event earlier this week.
Distinctive has expanded to Rockford, IL, where we will support the work of CICS Patriots campus (formerly managed by Edison Schools, which resigned late in last school year for unknown reasons).
I cannot wait to watch the progress our teachers will make with their students this year. Special early thanks to some of the supporters who have been helping our cause for kids:
